Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford includes Tim Hetherington in permanent gallery of famed alumni

Under the leadership of the college Principal Alan Rusbridger, Tim's former Oxford College has established a permanent gallery celebrating the achievements of its most notable alumni.    Tim is represented by a dynamic field portrait made in Afghanistan 2008 by Balazs Gardi and a selection  of journal entries from 1993 when Tim was first exploring the world after leaving university, and 2008 when he was working in Afghanistan at the top of his profession.  

Tim matriculated to Oxford University in 1989 where he read Classics and English.
